Effective November 3, 2026
This policy covers sch4.com, the website of the Sin City Hash House Harriers & Harriettes ("SCH4," "we"), a volunteer social club in Cincinnati.
What we collect
- Email you send us. If you email us, we get whatever you include, such as your name, email address, and any trail details. A hare's email may include a mobile number.
- Basic server logs. Like most websites, our server briefly records technical details of each visit, including your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
This site has no sign-up forms or accounts.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- This site doesn't set cookies or use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your message and to plan and publish hashes. If you hare a trail, the details you give us for that trail, such as your hash name and the location, may be published on this site, on our calendar, and on Hash Stats.
Text messages and phone calls
This site doesn't send text messages or make calls, and doesn't sign you up for either. If you give us your mobile number as a hare, we use it only to coordinate that trail. We don't use it for marketing and don't share it with anyone for marketing.
Other services
Some services we use or link to are run by other companies under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts supplies this site's fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you visit.
- Gmail handles the email you send us.
- Google Calendar carries our hash calendar.
- Hash Stats (hashstats.org) keeps hash records and sign-ups. It is run separately from this site, and its own policies and message options apply when you use it.
- Facebook hosts our club page.
Photos
Our photo albums may show people at club events. We remove location data from photo files before posting them. If you'd like a photo of you taken down, email us and we'll remove it.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep email for as long as it's useful for running the club. To ask us to delete your information, or to see what we have, email us. Records kept on Hash Stats are managed there.
Children
This site is for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here and update the date above.
