7 Hills Hash-a-Thong
Saturday, Sept. 25, 10 am, 1
pm, & 4 pm
SCH4 Hashes #643, 644 & 645
The original 7 Hills: Mt. Echo, Price Hill, Fairmount, Harrison Hill, Bellevue Hill, Mt. Auburn, Mt. Adams
Hares: Fluffer, Hot Tub Slut, NILF, and maybe a Mystery Hare or two
At 10:00 am we will circle up for the first of
three Hashes. Because of the logistics of coordinating three Hashes
back-to-back-to-back the Hares will be away fairly promptly from each Hash, so don't
be late.
As soon as we finish each Hash (1 ½ to 2 hours after each one
begins) we will circle up, do down-downs, etc., and
prepare for the next Hash. You can run any one, or any two, or all
three of the Hashes, your choice, if you’re man enough. Walkers are welcum, and
we will have maps, but there won't be much opportunity for
shortcutting, so if you want to walk you'll be doing the entire trail, each one
about 3-1/2 to 4 miles.
Cost: $6 per Hash, each one point-to-point (A to
B, B to C, and C to D), plus beer, snacks, a tour of at least 7 Hills, more
beer, hours and hours of fun in the great outdoors, more beer, urban and
suburban shiggy, etc. And did we mention beer? Did we mention hills?
Things to bring: $6, $12
or $18, depending on how much you want to run; running attire, a thong, and a
whistle. And Wile E., Centurion mugs, drinking vessels, etc. And money to
buy food and other stuff. And your favorite snacks to munch between
hashes, or you can drive to a nearby fast food joint for lunch between Hash #1
and Hash #2, or between Hash #2 and Hash #3. Or all of the above.
If you do all three hashes it will be A to B, B to C, and C to D.
If you do only one or two of the three Hashes we will do our best to provide
transportation for you back to wherever you started, Point A, B or C, but we
can’t promise anything. We also plan to provide a
beer/sag wagon for the entire trail for you to store dry clothes, take a nap,
etc.
From D we will do our best to get you back to A, unless some of you over-achievers want to jog back.
