The 2010 Bockfest Parade will be held on Friday, March 5, starting at
Arnold's at 8th and Main, downtown. The green Chevy hash truck will be
there again, and we need people to push it up Main and back down Clay
Street, just like last year.

Here is everything you need to know, but before you go any farther,
retain this one thought: If you want to drink beer, bring a couple of
cans, or a couple of six-packs, to take with you before, during and
after the parade; you have to be discreet, so also bring a drinking
vessel, the best kind being a large Coke or Pepsi cup from a fast food
joint, to fool the cops. Your other option is beer from Arnold's, which
you cannot take outside, although they will have a beergarten this year in the alley next to the bar. So BYOB.

And here's another thought:  The parade starts at 6:00, so be there early, like 5:00 for the pre-lube.

Things to bring: your fun friends, musical instruments, and hash
attire, including a whistle, to put together your best celebration of
everything bock: goats, beer, spring, friar tuck, beer, sausage,
leiderhosen, musical instruments, beer, ridiculous hats, and motorized
bathtubs - just to name a few. And did we mention beer? And remember the
drinking vessel. And a whistle.

WHAT: Bockfest 2010 - Cincinnati's most INSANE parade!
WHEN: Friday, March 5, 2010 - Show up at 5 pm. Parade Kickoff at 6 pm.
WHERE: Staging at ARNOLD'S BAR & GRILL, 216 East 8th Street between Main
& Sycamore Streets Downtown.

PARKING: On-street parking is free after 5 pm. Pay lot located across
from Arnold's. A good place to park is Court Street, across from the
Courthouse.
